About this calculation
Coefficients μs (sliding) and μw (wind drift), drift length ls.
Design basis
EN 1991-1-3, 5.3.6, Fig. 5.7
Input data
- Snow at the site: Site; Kazakhstan snow zone; Ground snow load sk; Site altitude above sea level; Exposure coefficient Ce; Thermal coefficient Ct; Design situation; Exceptional snow coefficient Cesl
- Geometry: h — height difference; b1 — width of upper roof; b2 — width of lower roof; α — upper roof pitch towards the step; Plan length of upper slope shedding snow; Snow weight density γ
Output
- Shape coefficients μ and loads by zone
- Snow load arrangement
- Detailed PDF, Word, Excel report
FAQ
How is the ground snow load s_k obtained?
Pick a settlement — the snow zone and sk are filled from the SP RK EN 1991-1-3 map, or enter the value manually.
Are snow drifts considered?
Yes: separate calculations for abutting taller structures, parapets and obstructions, multispan valleys, overhangs and snow guards.
What does the result include?
Characteristic loads by zone, the load arrangement and a detailed PDF, Word and Excel report.
